Ingredients
Lamb Mince
Onion
Greek Yoghurt
Breadcrumbs
Egg
Mint Leaves
Dried Oregano
Ground Cumin
Fresh Lemon Juice
White Pepper
Salt
Black Pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat Oven to 180°C.
2. Line a baking tray with baking paper, set aside.
3. Peel and finely dice the onion.
4. Crack and lightly beat egg in medium mixing bowl.
5. Put the chopped onion, lamb mince, breadcrumbs, oregano, cumin, 1/2 tsp salt and black pepper in the bowl with the beaten egg.
6. Mix well to combine.
7. Roll 1 Tbsp of the mix in your hands to form a ball. If you wet your hands meatball will not stick to your hands.
8. Place the meatball on the oven tray.
9. Continue to roll meatballs with the remaining meat mix.
10. Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through.
11. While the meatballs are baking, make the minted yoghurt.
12. Put the Greek yoghurt, chopped mint leaves, lemon juice, 1/4 Tsp salt and white pepper in a small bowl.
13. Mix well to combine.
14. Put yoghurt in small serving bowl
15. Cover with cling wrap and put in fridge until ready to serve.
16. Serve the yoghurt mix with the meatballs.
