Self-Raising Flour

Sugar

Egg

Butter

Maple Syrup

Mixed Berries

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Cut berries to bite size pieces.

2. Place fruit and maple syrup in bowl, mix to combine, then set aside.

3. Place flour and sugar in mixing bowl, mix with a whisk.

4. Make a well in the centre.

5. Add egg and gradually add milk, whisk until the batter is smooth and has no lumps.

6. Melt 1 teaspoon butter in a large frying pan on medium heat.

7. Pour batter 1/3 cup at a time and cook for 3 minutes or until bubbles appear and the base is golden brown.

8. Turn and cook other side for 2 minutes.

9. Serve with butter, maple-mixed berries or topping of your choice.
